Barrow Main Library

Was tempted to see if they'd loan a book to someone with a Toronto Public Library card. (No, I didn't have one on me. Although when I visited Antigonish, NS years prior, the library did loan books to visitors.)

Main Library, Ramsden Square, two winged old limestone building. Operated since 1974 by Cumbria County Council, it is the largest library in the town and the present structure, designed by J A Charles was originally built as a Carnegie library with support from the Carnegie Foundation. 82060510
